The owner of this 1960's ranch house wanted to bring the kitchen into the 21st century. The basic layout of the kitchen stayed the same with the refrigerator and oven trading places. An island was installed and the peninsula removed to create an even more open feeling. Recessed and task lighting offer a variety of options for illumination.
