This 1960's ranch style home never had a proper dining
room and the kitchen was small. The owners wanted an expanded space where
people in the kitchen, family room or dining room could move easily, interact
and keep an eye on children playing outside at the same time. At the same
time they desired to keep the design of the remodeled and new areas consistent
with the open feel of the rest of the house.
