Building
on more than a century of expertise in Western home and design trends, Sunset
magazine created the Sunset Western Home Alliance, a member-based
organization recognizing the West's best homebuilders. Created in 2003 with
a tripartite goal in mind, the SWHA seeks to foster exchange of information
on trends impacting the homebuilding industry, connecting a select group
of builders to Sunset's 4.3 million readers as well as to national
manufacturers of home products. Among other benefits, builder members receive
promotions throughout the year, both within the magazine and through participation
in Sunset special events, including the premier annual festival,
Celebration Weekend and the Sunset Western Home Alliance Conference.
