NARI Certification
In 1983, the NARI Certification Program provided the remodeling industry with its first formalized standard of expertise and ethical conduct for professional remodelers. These certifications recognize remodelers who have undergone detailed review and testing in areas of business management, technical skills and ethical conduct. NARI Certification is a challenging process requiring extensive knowledge of the industry and a commitment to professional conduct. Once awarded their certification, NARI certified remodelers must meet annual recertification requirements involving continuing education and participation in industry related programs. Winans Construction is proud to have NARI certified Lead Carpenters on staff.
Certified Green Building Professionals
In 2003, Alameda County Waste Management Authority partnered with the San Francisco Bay
Area chapter of NARI to develop Green Building Professional Certification for California
licensed building professionals. The certification program provides local building professionals
with an opportunity to become educated and trained in green building, including green materials
and methodologies, so that they can provide excellent, informed green design/build and construction.
Recertification is mandatory every two years. Winans Construction is proud to have participated in
this program since its inception.
